Production funding for 'You Should Have Been There'

Thanks to the Limburg Film Fund for their contribution to the realization of our project You Should Have Been There!

This documentary, developed by Manouk Pluis, tells a deeply personal story about group recovery from Anorexia Nervosa. Ten years after an intensive treatment program, Manouk reconnects with her former group members to dive deeper into the reality of recovery.

As they reflect on their shared experience, a fundamental question arises: how much influence did they have on each other's recovery?

With the support of script coach Annemarieke Graafmans, Manouk has worked intensively on her film plan over the past year. We look forward to the next steps of her directorial debut and will do our best to share this urgent and inspiring story with as wide an audience as possible.
